Recruitment Specialist Job description
Hutchison Ports (UK) – Port of Felixstowe, the largest deep-water Port in the UK, is looking to recruit a graduate HR Manager to support our continued development and growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR generalist looking to progress their career into a management position. With the support of the Senior HR Manager (Resourcing and Talent), you will be working on a variety of projects that will offer you significant development opportunities to establish your career as a future HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Able to provide detailed and structured research and analysis to support proposals and recommendations.
- Advise managers on best practices and approaches, using policy, data and analysis to influence decision-making.
- Ensure cyclical programs are communicated and launched, reviewing progress, and updating reports throughout to ensure completion by deadlines.
- Ensure consistency of approach aligned to HR strategy across all departments.
- Develop strong working relationships with HR colleagues to ensure stakeholder engagement and department delivery of key work streams.
- Engage with stakeholders to develop in depth understanding of the approaches to attracting, managing, and developing talent.
Who are we looking for?
Suitable applicants should meet the following criteria:
Essential:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working in a generalist Human Resources role
- Educated to degree level, or with equivalent experience
- Experience in a commercial environment, while balancing departmental needs with HR objectives and best practices.
- Ability to identify and highlight risks and mitigating factors taking into account a variety of stakeholders.
