About Greater Bay Airlines
Greater Bay Airlines was established in response to the Central Government’s national strategy for developing the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the integration of Hong Kong into the Chinese Mainland’s overall development.
The completion of the third runway at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) by 2024 will further strengthen Hong Kong's position as an international aviation hub and as a connecting point to the Greater Bay Area. Cross-border infrastructure such as the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, high-speed ferries to the SkyPier at HKIA, high-speed rail from Hong Kong to Shenzhen and Guangzhou, an extensive motorway network, and more border crossings such as the one opened at Liantang in 2020 will facilitate travel within the region and help to make Hong Kong a smart choice for enterprises looking to participate in the development of the Greater Bay Area.
