The Role: Masterdata Administrator - 12month FTC

Purpose:

To deliver quality and timely Master Data activities within ABP’s Finance Shared Services (FSS) team in Port Business Services (PBS).

Scope:

The Master Data Clerk within PBS will be responsible for the delivery of the following services for all parts of ABP:

  • Maintain high-quality financial master data, focusing on Business Partners, and providing support to deliver the integration and maintenance of the property related business partner data (Customers and Vendors). 
  • Day to day liaison with the wider business to ensure the ongoing quality of master data
  • Ongoing review and housekeeping of master data quality

Principal duties and responsibilities:

  1. Culture & Team
  • Demonstrate a strong customer service culture and skills set
  • Work with the Master Data Manager to achieve KPI’s and objectives
  1. Delivery of Services
  • Ensure timely and accurate verification and maintenance of customer and vendor master data, supporting the wider master data team in the maintenance of chart of accounts, cost centre, profit centre, internal orders and fixed assets.
  • Ensure ongoing review and cleansing of master data quality, including performing standard housekeeping activities
  • Keep the Master Data Manager updated on master data issues
  • Responsible for the electronic storage and retention of documents and making available to local audit, as required
  • Be seen, internally, as a point of contact for master data matters
  1. Management and ongoing monitoring of service delivery
  • Compliance, performance and positive contribution to KPI’s for the Master Data Team and wider PBS and business
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of master data activities
  • Responsible for the consistent and ongoing adherence to guidelines and internal controls
  1. Continuous Improvement
  • Build relationships with key points of contact across the processes and other functions within the FSS in order to maintain an understanding of the process context and identify both intra process and cross process improvement opportunities
  • Proactively suggest improvement ideas to drive continuous improvement
  1. Transition Management
  • Assist with the transition of activities in to PBS and support the wider business in technology and process changes
