Training Manager Job description

Training Centre – Reception Administrator, based at Cheadle, Manchester

Responsible for providing a highly efficient, professional, and timely administrative support & reception welcome service to all, Jet2holidays’ Colleagues, Contractors and Visitors to the Manchester Training Centre encapsulating our ‘Take Me There’ values. Ensuring every colleague/visitor/contractor has a positive experience on site in line with our infamous Jet2 customer service policy.

What will you do in the role?

The Training Centre Administrator will be responsible for all administrative tasks including filing, scanning, photocopying, answering and directing incoming phone calls and providing professional and informative site tour services for all internal and external colleagues and visitors.

  • Health, Safety & Security as well as Fire Marshall duties where required
  • Day to Day support of other internal department functions within the Training Centre as necessary
  • Visitors – Receiving colleagues, contractors & visitors in a professional manner, ensuring everyone is signed in and issued with the correct ID/Visitor badge
  • Process development - Operation and development of processes required to ensure the smooth functioning of the reception/admin team
  • Facilities Management
  • Team Communication – Maintaining an open channel of communication with reception colleagues & that any handovers of information are provided to a high standard

What are the key skills / experience you’ll already have?

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge and experience of office administration and reception duties. Previous experience of working within a process driven and administrative environment is preferable but not essential.

  • You will be naturally inclined to help and assist others imparting our ‘Happy to Help’ ethos
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a good knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team but also on an individual basis
  • Initiative to identify, solve and escalate problems accordingly
