Flight Instructor Job description

As a consequence of an expansion in the Embraer 170/190 training program, Lufthansa Aviation Training Switzerland is currently looking for experienced SFIs and TRIs.


  • In this function, you will provide instruction for type rating, and recurrent and renewal training in our simulators in Frankfurt and Vienna in accordance with EASA and customer procedures.
  • You will also ensure that all required training is properly documented and you will promote sound CRM principles. 


  • Swiss citizenship or residence permit in Switzerland
  • Hold or have held an ATPL license from an EASA country
  • Valid EMB170 type rating
  • Hold an SFI (or higher) authorization
  • Fluent in German and English (ICAO level 4)
  • Ability to offer at least five days of availability per month (three effective working days)

  • Proficient IT skills, especially MS-Office
