Tasks

Once you join our team as a Supply Coordinator you will:

  • Work together with local and central material management functions to achieve on-time redelivery of the aircraft at minimum logistic costs
  • Systematically question/challenge the supply rules and the material planning decisions and jointly develops process or setup improvements
  • Stay in close contact with the material coordinators
  • Place and track material requests for customer-supplied materials
  • Develop solutions together with local and central material management functions and logistic service providers on problematic material requests
  • Be responsible to clarify or escalate transport-related issues on the interface between the material coordinator and the logistics service provider’s material flow management
  • Monitor and report total material consumption per aircraft maintenance event

Lufthansa Technik Sofia is part of the Lufthansa Technik base maintenance network. It performs heavy maintenance checks on the Airbus A320 family and Boeing B737 including B737 Classic and B737 NG. The company is situated at Sofia airport and operates since October 2008.

Requirements

To be successful in the role you need:

  • University degree in economics, logistics, or engineering
  • Professional experience in logistics of a minimum of 3 years
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to think out of the box
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership characteristics
  • Team spirit, sense of responsibility, and very good interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate, preferably SAP knowledge
  • Flexibility according to workload during the project phases
  • Open for frequent or long-duty travels
  • Ability to generate new ideas and identify the potential for improvement within his working area
  • The high degree of ability to work under pressure
  • Experience in process design
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
