Sales Representative Job description
The Shuttle Sales Coordinator ensures a seamless booking process for customers while maximizing shuttle capacity and revenue. This position is responsible for listening to the client’s needs and presenting the appropriate Tradewind products. They shall maintain a high level of product knowledge on everything Tradewind has to offer. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Shuttle Sales Coordinator is expected to handle the booking and confirmation cycle over email and phone communication within our booking systems. They also assist with any luggage logistical issues and keep clients informed of any delays or cancellations. This role works closely with multiple departments including scheduling, charter sales, dispatch, and marketing. Must be flexible with a variable work schedule (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
Responsibilities
- Consistent demonstration of company values with customers and teammates
- Be engaged in team meetings and/or training sessions to build your knowledge base and awareness of company products and initiatives
- Engage in conversation with our customers while navigating multiple systems and resources
- Accurately book and confirm domestic and international flight reservations
- Monitor and reply to customer questions and requests via email and phone
- Monitor and reply to company instant messaging with remote airport handlers and interdepartmental communication
- Inform passengers of flight delays via SMS system and phone
- Assist and educate travelers on passport and visa requirements
- Diplomatically resolve travel-related issues
- Ability to stay organized and follow through in an efficient, timely manner
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous customer service experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with and communicate successfully with a variety of personalities
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Sales: Proven ability to build client relationships and generate sales
- Tech Savvy: Strong typing skills and proficient with internet navigation, instant messenger tools, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
- Communication: Ability to communicate through all mediums (verbal, listening, written) and confidence to make outbound calls to customers
- Receptive: Open to receiving coaching feedback through regular meetings and applying learnings
- Dexterity: Able to concentrate and sit or stand at a desk while viewing a computer screen repetitively and answering the phone for each scheduled shift
