Business Manager Job description

You will report to the Senior Manager, Product Planning and Development, and you will be responsible for the business delivery of all products and services within the Payment Facilitation Solutions Portfolio, which includes leading industry solutions like IATA Financial Gateway (IFG), iiNET and TASF.

You will be part of a results-driven, dynamic team with product portfolio strategy focusing on innovation and delivery of a multi-dimensional payment and settlement solution allowing the industry travel suppliers to accept current and future payment options and to optimize their different sales payment processes through a single and global omnichannel platform.

What your day would be like
  • Provide in-depth business and technical support on the products of the portfolio during and post-implementation.
  • Manage contract cycles, invoicing and invoice collection in collaboration with other departments such as Sales, Marketing, Legal and Finance.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial and operational reporting to management.
  • Manage customer care support and measure the customer satisfaction
  • Maintain relationships and engagement with the customers in coordination with the account managers.
  • Identify and evaluate new product requirement/enhancement opportunities in close collaboration with the Head of Payment Facilitation Solutions and the Product Engagement and Product Development teams.
  • Support the Head of Payment Facilitation Solutions to implement the Strategy for the business development of the Product Portfolio.
  • You will be accountable for revenue, margin and KPI targets.
We would love to hear from you if

• University degree in Business Administration or Computer Science

• 8+ years in business delivery with 5+ years leadership experience

• Strong knowledge in payment and settlement processes in the Travel and Hospitality Industries and a good understanding of the Airline’s distribution from ticketing to settlement processes and the data file distribution.

• Understanding of IATA Financial product offering and knowledge of settlement and payment processes used in the travel industry is a plus.

• Understanding of business process modeling with strong analytical and problem-solving

• Organized and detail-oriented with experience in multicultural environments and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

• Customer service oriented with the ability to communicate with business customers, travel suppliers, and technical delivery teams.

• Ability to think “out of the box” and challenge the current way of working in order to drive for continuous process improvement.

• Solid PC skills, proficient in MS Office, XML and data management.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, any other additional languages will be an advantage.

Travel Required: 20%
