Human Resources Job description
Working as an integral member of the airport team, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and thorough end-to-end employment verification and vetting service across Edinburgh Airport Limited and other campus employers.
This role will be working within a fast-paced environment so the ability to prioritize workload and excellent attention to detail is essential.
A sound background in administration is essential. You must be organized, tenacious, and highly detail-oriented. You should enjoy a challenge and have a creative mindset for problem-solving.

- Responsible for managing the vetting administration side of the recruitment process
- Responsible for meeting strict deadlines while maintaining all aspects of compliance with relevant legislation and local procedures.
- Review and maintain effective procedures for quality control and improved process/productivity by working with the Head of HR Process
- Working with the relevant authorities on audits and other compliance activities
- Supporting new candidates to ensure all relevant paperwork/information is captured and contacting previous employers to obtain satisfactory references
- Provide advice and guidance to employees and managers on all vetting-related queries in person, by phone and by email
- Build effective and constructive relationships and partnerships with all key stakeholders internally and externally
- Manage the day-to-day administrative activities associated with the function
- Support the HR Team in other activities as and when required
Person Specification:
We want people who care about delivering a great service and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You should have demonstrable experience in an autonomous administration role, ideally with some recruitment or referencing background. We would also consider an application from someone who is looking to progress their career in this area and can demonstrate relevant skills
You should be confident to work flexibly to manage business priorities and your own workload with minimal supervision. You will be highly organized and used to managing multiple tasks concurrently.
You must be highly PC and systems literate including proficiency in Word and Excel with the ability to quickly master bespoke software.
