Sales Representative Job description

The Sales Account Executive is responsible for maximizing cargo revenues and market share ex Korea. This is achieved by focusing on premium revenue while ensuring optimal import and export customer service. Accountable for meeting and exceeding regional revenue sales goals, adhering to expense budgets, and assuring the fulfillment of the Sales Flight Plan, which is based on regional and corporate goals. 

  • The Sales Account Executive will execute sales calls by formulating new and reviewing existing sales programs with our elite and key accounts within the assigned territories. 
  • The Sales Account Executive will make in-person sales calls, working from a sales office to qualify revenue sources and negotiate the best contracts with accounts to secure revenues.
  • The Sales Account Executive will work in tandem with the Customer Service and Inventory teams to ensure all flights are optimized ensuring a healthy pipeline of business  
  • The Sales Account Executive is required to plan their sales activities in conjunction with current strategies and rational analysis of account and market data, proactively harmonizing customer activity and aligning rates with joint venture partners.  
  • Will timely float activity reports to regional and senior leaders while actively promoting and tracking utilization of Sales Force automation to support the overall objectives for the position, territory, market, department, and corporation.  
  • ⦁ Accountable for meeting or exceeding measurable key performance indicators goals.  

Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks): 

  • Account selection, monitoring, and analysis of CASS, World ACD, and internal performance data to identify sale opportunities. 
  • Focus on product segmentation especially high-yield products, territory management, incentive program selection, and key customer selection, and insure coordination between Korean Air, GHA agents, ACS, and Operations management.  
  • Meet assigned revenue targets, improved revenue/tonnage/market growth, and maximized aircraft utilization, improved yield performance. 
  • The sales Account Executive will participate in local industry organizations on behalf of Delta and forge relationships with local industry media and governmental authorities.

  • 3-5 years of experience in air cargo, with a track record of growth and experience in a Delta public contact position, is preferred.  
  • Should possess a strong orientation toward sales and understand how to create and maintain excellent business relationships with customers and partners’ senior leadership, as well as civic and community leaders.  
  • The position requires interpersonal, analytical, project management and business decision-making skills.  
  • Experience in the following computer applications is required: Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Sales Force platform and Booking system (WebVision) preferably. 
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication in Korean and English is required.  
  • Candidate must be available to work additional hours and/or days as needed. Required to make overnight business travel when required.  
  • Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.  
  • This candidate should possess an overall knowledge of company procedures and policies. And must be performing satisfactorily in the current position and possess valid working authorization within the country assigned.
  • Must be authorized to work in Korea.


  • Extensive knowledge of the Air Cargo and/or Freight Forwarding industry
