The Specialist - Policy and Procedures is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures concerning safety, security, and emergency procedures for all divisional personnel. The Specialist ensures all policies and procedures are aligned with federal (FAA, DOT, TSA, etc.) and company regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops strategies and initiatives to improve Inflight Safety performance
- Interacts and presents recommendations to Inflight and other corporate leadership based on shared interest agenda to ensure mandates/initiatives support safety objectives
- Develops content for the Inflight Safety Manual to ensure all safety procedures are current and meet regulatory compliance
- Engages partners to ensure implementation of new policies and procedures to support divisional goals and address the root causes of the problem(s), complement current and future work, and have a high probability of success
- Works cross-functionally with appropriate partners both within and outside of the division to develop proactive solutions and prepare them for implementation

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or 2-4 years of proven experience
- 2-4 years experience in a safety-related background, experience drafting policies and procedures
- Safety policy and procedures creation
- Attention to detail, Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
