We are looking for someone passionate and experienced in Finance Recruiting. You will focus on quality without sacrificing speed. You will own the process from start to finish, including passive candidate sourcing, interviewing and evaluating candidates, negotiating offers, and onboarding competitive internal/external candidates to fill open job requisitions. You will represent the JetBlue culture and brand, fully portray the value of the employment opportunity, and champion the overall candidate experience. This individual contributor role is a strategic influencer who sees the company as their customer, the hiring manager as their partner, and diversity and quality as a measurement of success. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners to best meet the recruiting need of the business
  • Initiate requisition and conduct partner strategy meetings with the hiring manager
  • Assist in creating the external hiring sourcing strategy for specialized roles
  • Ensure that competitive candidates that meet or exceed specific qualifications and are an excellent organizational fit for the JetBlue culture are presented to hiring managers for open positions
  • Conduct full life cycle (Finance) Corporate Recruiting, including conducting telephone, individual, and group interviews virtually or in person. Successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against timelines, while handling a heavy work load
  • Support the Talent Acquisition process through accurate record-keeping, reporting, and updating interview guides and position expectations
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant experience
  • One (1) year of finance or similar full-cycle recruiting experience in a high paced and growth environment
  • Experience organizing, coordinating, and recruiting for multiple roles while providing exceptional customer service with a sense of urgency
  • Experience developing complex search strategies to identify & attract diverse passive & active talent with a solid understanding and use of, but not limited to, LinkedIn, X-Ray, and Boolean searches
  • Passion for keeping up with the latest industry trends and sourcing tools
  • Must have the ability to understand complex roles and identify candidates with specialized, often rare skills sets
  • Desire to be in a service-oriented environment with enthusiasm and the intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn about financial services
  • Knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
  • Must have valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the U.S
  • Available for overnight travel (10%)
  • Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of (Finance) full-cycle recruiting experience in a high paced and growth environment
  • Three (3) years of sourcing experience, ideally demonstrating the ability to hire and close passive candidates
  • Previous Airline experience
  • Knowledge of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), and employment laws
  • Proficient with Microsoft Teams
  • Ability to think of new and creative ways to build talent pipelines
  • Have worked across different verticals filling corporate positions
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches and hiring managers at the same time
  • Experience managing applicant tracking systems, preferably Success Factors

Crewmember Expectations:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
  • Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture, that is, exhibit the JetBlue values of Safety, Caring, Integrity, Passion, and Fun
  • Promote JetBlue’s #1 value of safety as a Safety Ambassador, supporting JetBlue’s Safety Management System (SMS) components, Safety Policy, and behavioral standards 
  • Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents, or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
