  • Prime Appearance is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team!
  • As an Operations Manager, you will lead a dynamic team of individuals performing aircraft detailing. The scope of work that you will oversee includes aircraft wet washes, dry washes, wipe downs, interior and exterior detailing, buffing, sanding, and brightwork polishing.
  • While this is a demanding role that will include weekend and after-hours work on occasion, it is a rewarding position that comes with advancement opportunities and potential travel assignments for dedicated and committed individuals. The Operations Manager is responsible for all functions at our location, including supervision of all staff members, customer relationships, hiring and staffing, performance management, scheduling, and ensuring that all team members operate according to our safety best practices.

· Serves as liaison between the company and customer, and is responsible for quality of services provided to the customer

· Ensures safety and security procedures are in accordance with standards set forth within company standard operating procedures and manuals, and in accordance with international aviation standards

· Responsible for recruiting and staffing of the station, following hiring policies and procedures, and ensures staffing levels are maintained to meet internal/external service level/quality assurance standards

· Monitors the performance of team members and takes action to correct any shortfalls

· Sources new sales opportunities

· Ensures senior management, corporate safety, and compliance team members are immediately notified of any current or pending audits and their results

· Provides guidance and leadership to the team

· Investigates and reports all accidents, incidents, and irregularities, including work-related accidents/incidents, passenger incidents involving Prime Appearance employees, and property and/or aircraft damage

· Complies with all local, state, and federal rules and security measures

· Provides reports and service delivery measurements as required

· Develops and implement the station Emergency Response Plan when necessary

· Works shifts as required by the business operations

· Promotes and supports workplace diversity initiatives

· Possesses the ability to backfill open station leadership positions during times of vacancy


· Prior managerial experience required

· Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with customers and other stakeholders at the airport

· Financially and commercially astute with experience and a strong grasp of financial practices including P&L responsibility

· Excellent leadership and people management skills

· Prior knowledge of aircraft and the aircraft industry preferred

· High School education or GED preferred

· Detailing experience preferred
