Tasks:

The Ops Analyst (f/m/diverse) will actively shape, develop and enhance the steering solutions landscape of Austrian Airlines with a focus on the operations departments. It includes close collaboration with the IT departments and various business units throughout the organization.

  • Develop, implement and continuously improve the steering solutions in close cooperation with IT and different operations departments as well as other Lufthansa Group business units
  • Drive digitalization with regard to the use of digital ops data
  • Extract and integrate ops data from new sources
  • Analyze and visualize ops data
  • Prepare analytical deep dives for Adhoc ops requirements
  • Participate in large and complex Business and IT projects
  • Carry out system administration, testing, and support
  • Constantly develop current knowledge and actively seek to understand new advances on the horizon.

Requirements:

  • Experience with popular database programming languages including SQL, PL/SQL, etc.
  • Experience in working with large, heterogeneous datasets in building and optimizing data pipelines, pipeline architectures, and integrated datasets using cloud-based data integration technologies (including ETL, API design and access, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience working with Tableau Desktop and Server and skilled in creating interactive Tableau workbooks, dashboards, and stories
  • Experience in data management disciplines including data integration, modeling, optimization, data quality, and/or other areas directly relevant to ad hoc analytic responsibilities and tasks
