IT Operations Engineer - APAC region

Role Description

We are looking for an IT Operations Engineer, comfortable with 1st/2nd line support duties. You will have been involved in the support and rolling out of Microsoft services across the APAC region. The role will be providing local IT Support for users and remote assistance to other Skyports offices around the world. This includes supporting end-users as well as our drones and vertiport technical operations.

Ideally, this role will be filled by an energetic individual with a passion for technology. Together, with our IT Operations Manager, you will help manage the roll-out of a Microsoft Modern Workplace with best practices and the company IT Security roadmap. This will see you gain greater exposure across the Microsoft 365 and Azure AD stack, providing first-class support using established ITIL Helpdesk practices.

The role will be based out of our Singapore office with options for flexible working.

Requirements

• Must be a resident of Singapore with rights to work in the country
• Support the delivery of infrastructure projects with the IT Operations Manager; helping to improve and maintain performance, resilience, efficiency, and security
• Assisting users with desktop and Microsoft cloud-based services. Identify areas for improvement (including reoccurring faults) and report these issues to IT Operations Manager
• Management of regional suppliers and device rollout to local teams
• Work closely with senior members of the technical team and wider business to ensure projects are delivered successfully
• Along with the IT Operations Manager, ensure the IT helpdesk and all requests for IT support are actioned in accordance with helpdesk procedures and priorities
• Provide training to local staff on IT operations and policies
• Dealing with user account management, devices, and shared resources for all staff
• Provide a flexible, adaptable, and diplomatic service for all staff (in person and remotely) to assist with IT Issues, ensuring IT is working for them
• Together with the IT Operations Manager, ensure End user IT Security Policies and Technology are in line with regional compliance standards including but not limited to ISO 27001
• You are already based in Singapore which is the work location

• Experience working with Fortinet technologies
• Azure Cloud Compute experience or similar
