Pilot Training Coordinator Job description

Coordinate scheduling and daily operations of the Spirit Flight Ops Training Centers. Provide assistance to Instructors and Trainees on a daily basis. Act as the on-site representative with the landlord and escalate issues as appropriate.

  • Scheduling: Prepare and manage Training Center classroom scheduling to meet inter-departmental needs.
  • Assist trainees with questions, and concerns and ensure a positive experience during training.
  • Property Management: Primary contact for all facility-related issues at the Training Centers and working with local building management to resolve any problems or issues. Also designated point person for all services related to the training center such as cleaning and vending.
  • Asset Management: Oversees facility supplies such as cleaning consumables and printing paper and submits orders when inventory is running low.
  • Administer parking permits and enforce parking rules.
  • Mail: Receive and distribute company mail within the Training Center.
  • Distribution of badging, and other tasks as assigned by Training Leadership.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments).

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Experienced in Excel and knowledgeable of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to multi-task and change priorities quickly.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be present at the worksite 100% of the time.
  • Domestic & International travel approximately 25% of the time.
