GAT maintains a dedicated Training Department to ensure full compliance with our customers' training policies and procedures as well as GAT's governmental regulatory compliance. The Training Manager assesses the needs of a business, implements training and development plans, and facilitates a wide variety of training programs that enhance the effectiveness of the workforce. Helps in implementing an effective Learning Management System to meet the various training needs of GAT to support our customers. This position is responsible to roll out learning plans to achieve strategic learning priorities and deliver curricula at consistently high standards.

Training Manager helps design custom training modules and implement eLearning platforms:

  • Responsible for working with the carriers to deliver training using a variety of techniques, (i.e. in-person/virtual classroom, E-learning, hands-on, etc.) and formats to accommodate adult learning styles and engage the learners.
  • Research new training methodologies and techniques that might enhance our training procedures and provide value to our employees
  • Reviews existing training programs; suggest enhancements and modifications improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of clientele, the organization, or the industry.
  • Must have the ability to work independently to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with multiple assignments occurring simultaneously.
  • Work collaboratively with operational leadership and represented workgroups to proactively identify training needs to support field locations.
  • Must effectively articulate and communicate how GAT Core Values support the training process.
  • Must possess a sense of urgency and a passion for the continuous improvement of training delivery.


  • Bachelor's degree or appropriate combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of Airline industry preferred or a strong background and enthusiastic spirit in the aviation industry, specifically Airline Airport Services or Airline Service Provider leadership.
  • 5+ years of experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) preferably cornerstone platforms.
  • Must be willing to travel and be away from home base when required.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive, professional, internal, and external business relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
