Introduction

At Air France-KLM, the Information Management Organization (IMO) Finance and Procurement is a knowledge center for the financial processes. The IMO acts as an integrator between the user organization and the external and internal IT suppliers. The department is located in the Netherlands and France serving the Finance and Procurement departments within the Group.

What are you going to do?

The Procurement team within the IMO is heavily involved in managing the processes associated to Indirect Costs and Direct Operating Costs. For Application support we work closely with the Budapest shared service center.

For the Indirect Spend a program is running to rationalize and optimize the buying processes. The target system is SAP SRM (Click2Buy) with the SAP Business Network. Once implemented this leads to significant better data quality, which will improve the reporting of categorized Spend but most importantly it will lead to a compliant process. For some spend areas that are still hard to ‘manage’ in a rigid IT system we expect to start new initiatives relying on either new tools or external support.

Recently some important initiatives have started in the field of Sourcing and Contracting to optimize efficiency of vendor selection supported with tools for best quality/price decisions.

In parallel to above mentioned initiatives a program is running that aims to feed all relevant data from the Procurement applications into a central Data & Reporting environment.

Where do you land?

The IMO organization is continuously optimizing its services with the aim to reach the best business architecture and optimal processes. Working at the IMO will give you the possibility to steer your career beyond the strict limitation of this vacancy. You will be part of the team consisting of 9 specialists located in Amsterdam and 9 specialists located in Paris.
