Cargo Security Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervisor Management Services to include, among others: American Airlines employees, visitors and vendors for airport security
• Guarantees the delivery of the service to the airline in accordance with the contracts and within the agreed budget level.
• Ensures that security and protection procedures comply with the standards set out in the Security and Training Manual.
• Liaisons with the managers of the service stations, airport operations managers, management agents, Customs, Immigration and Security officials and other interested parties of the airport.
• Monitors the performance of security forces and takes measures to correct any deficit.
• Guarantees immediate notification to the Manager of any audit.
• Provide guidance and leadership to the team.
• Investigates and report all accidents, incidents and irregularities.
• Guarantees the service in accordance with the contracts and within the agreed budget level.

Knowledge/Skills/Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years in airport security.
• United States citizen
• Active security D license
• Fluent in English language (conversational, writing and reading).
• Fully conversant with lobby management procedures, aviation safety and security procedures.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Aptitude to develop and mentor staff provides succession planning and re-engineers business processes as demanded by changes in the business.
