SUMMARY:

Provide guidance with leadership skills to build the team and ensure each employee have the skills to communicate effectively.  Supervise day-to-day activities of the station.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managers across Eulen America must enforce and oversee compliance with a safety policy, internal standards, and requirements of the customer airlines and provide all necessary tools to enable continuous improvement of safety performance and corporate safety culture. If any occupational accidents or incidents were to occur, their root causes would be fully investigated, and measures adopted to prevent any such event in the future. 

Eulen America has established a management system to monitor the continuous improvement of safety performance as follows:

  • Respect and implement all Standard Operating Procedures 
  • Implement Station Safety Action Plans following corporate safety audits. 
  • Conduct all tasks in accordance with written operation and safety procedures
  • Make sure all staff is fully aware of their responsibilities and their role in the implementation of the safety policy. 
  • Ensure staff and management are properly trained according to the standards and legal requirements. 
  • Communicate appropriately to staff. 
  • Register any incident, accident, or injury, as a safety report and send it to the Station manager and Corporate Safety. 
  • Investigate, implement appropriate actions for every incident, and reported operational hazards. 
  • Take appropriate actions to rectify any risks to health and Safety. 
  • Provide all employees with personal protection tools and instruct them on how to use them. 
  • Ensure quality control of all activities impacting daily operations and execute changes as required.
  • Serve as a key internal contact to communicate the operation and effectiveness of the operation.
  • Work to maximize on-time performance, proper staffing, training, and safety initiatives.
  • Identify issues and engage in structured problem-solving, coaching, and counseling as needed.
  • Supports the Station Manager in monitoring work areas and job functions to ensure a safe environment exists and safe work habits are used.
  • Spend the majority of time in operation, interacting with employees and overseeing all aspects of cabin service as well as Lavatory service activity.
  • Minimum of two years of airline experience including experience in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in Airport Operations preferably time at regional airlines.
  • Ability to think strategically and have motivational skills to lead a team.
  • Confidence, patience, and politeness, when dealing with difficult situations.
  • Communication skills that allow you to inform, help, and advise customers clearly and effectively.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Speak English, Bilingual a plus
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 70lbs
  • Must be able to stand for long periods, stoop, climb, and kneel
  • Must be professional appearance and adhere to company grooming/uniform policy
  • Must have a valid state driver's license
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends, and be able to report to work on a regular and timely basis
  • Requires flexibility to work additional hours beyond the regular shift, on short notice, and as needed during irregular operations.

Must be able to work in a wide variety of conditions: extreme weather, airport environment (jet/equipment noises), and work environment inside/outside.
