Aviation Analyst Job description

The Analyst Sales Operations & Analysis supports the Manager Sales Operations & Analysis in providing analytical feedback and support to the overall sales organization and Commercial team. The Analyst works closely with Revenue Management and Commercial leadership reporting on sales efforts and the effectiveness of strategies implemented. The Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day management of various internal and external sales projects as well as management of all large sales team events and advertising.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Present client information to sales managers or commercial leadership in a timely fashion in order to support strategy decisions
  • Provide valuable feedback on strategy relative to events, advertising, and projects utilizing data and knowledge of the corporate sales environment
  • Support field Sales Managers in the efforts to drive incremental revenue in corporate business travel
  • Responsible for rolling up reports on Sales Manager revenue targets
  • Support operations and workflows through CRM system, salesforce.com
  • Oversee contract management process and day-to-day activities
  • Support large event planning, development, and billing
  • Generate sales reports to support the development of existing and new contracts
  • Maintain reports and assist in the development of sales tools
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in any field of study; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant experience
  • One (1) year of revenue management, sales, or marketing experience
  • Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel through an onsite, computer-based work sample
  • Highly motivated and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (15%)
  • Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Access or other database software
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, and other BI Data Tools
  • Experience with salesforce.com

  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
