Aeronautical engineer Job description

Living the fascination for the technology of an aircraft every day and ensuring that our passengers arrive safely at their destination - with a focus on aircraft structure and interior engineering.

Tasks:

  • Implementation of airworthiness directives and manufacturer documents, taking legal and economic requirements into account
  • Reliability assessments for systems and interiors, including cabin reliability and performance measurement, initiation and monitoring of technically and economically sensible measures, analysis of errors in aircraft and components, and clarification with aircraft and component manufacturers
  • Technical support of the maintenance organization and flight operations to maintain operational aircraft 
  • Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of all structural damage as well as for aircraft paintwork, cabin specifications, and interfaces for the product, flight safety, ground ops, flight operations, fire management, etc.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed higher technical education (HTL, degree, or comparable)
  • Several years of professional experience in Part M and Part 145 organizations.
  • Assertiveness and high persuasiveness
  • Sound knowledge of European aviation law and the corresponding manuals of the Austrian Tech Ops
  • Ability to process complex tasks under time pressure
  • In-depth knowledge of lean management and process-oriented working methods
  • Good written and oral skills in German and English
