Aircraft Maintainer Job description
Experience the fascination for the technology of an aircraft and play a crucial role in ensuring our passengers safe arrival at their destination. As a member of our technical team, support us in our maintenance operations.
Tasks
- Assist Certifying Technicians and Certifying Mechanics with the carrying out maintenance work on Austrian Airlines aircraft fleet and our customers
- Provision of the necessary tools and spare parts
- Preparation of maintenance vehicles with necessary tools and equipment
- Pass on information appropriately and professionally to the specialist and disciplinary superior
- Take on other appropriate activities as instructed by the supervisor
- Opportunity for education as a Certifying Technician under EASA rules
Requirements
To fill this position, we are seeking passionate and reliable technicians with the desire to master or gain the perfect command of one of the most exciting manual trades in the world.
- Completed compulsory school, technical vocational training or school education
- Good knowledge of spoken and written German and English
- Good computer literacy
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability and high resilience
- Cooperative personality, with initiative and team player qualities
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- Willingness and suitability for shift work
- Drivers license class B
- Unrestricted work permit for Austria
