What you'll do- Serves as a liaison between authorities, airport, customers, and American Airlines
- Works with Regional Manager and local leadership to resolve local operating problems
- Verifies all shipment documentation to ensure accuracy and inputs required data into the system
- Manifests and plans shipments for the appropriate flights
- Notifies customers upon shipment arrivals within the allotted timeframe
- Assists with COMAT/AOG shipments as needed
- Completes required training in a timely fashion
- Responds to emails and other types of communications professionally and in a timely manner
- Some travel required for the USA or other MCLA stations
- Ensures adherence to company and local authorities’ policies and procedures
- Monitors stations safety, rules, and regulations compliance
- Monitors ULDs proper handling and movement as needed
- Assists in monitoring and following up on stations’ performances and assists with their coding
- Monitors stations’ self-audits and scale calibrations to ensure compliance
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees from all departments and levels in English and in Spanish
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and uphold a professional demeanor
- Ability to manage multiple duties efficiently and effectively
- Effective time management skills and motivated self-starter
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and WebEx
- Ability to workdays/evenings/weekends that may include holidays
- Valid Passport and visa to travel to the USA and Internationally
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Proficient in American Airlines iCargo system
- In-depth knowledge of and proficiency in all aspects of cargo customer service
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent airline/cargo services experience
