Under the Cargo Regional Managers' direction with strong ties to local leadership, supports overall local cargo operation, processes, and performance.

• Serves as a liaison between authorities, airport, customers, and American Airlines
• Works with Regional Manager and local leadership to resolve local operating problems 
• Verifies all shipment documentation to ensure accuracy and inputs required data into the system
• Manifests and plans shipments for the appropriate flights
• Notifies customers upon shipment arrivals within the allotted timeframe
• Assists with COMAT/AOG shipments as needed
• Completes required training in a timely fashion
• Responds to emails and other types of communications professionally and in a timely manner
• Some travel required for the USA or other MCLA stations
• Ensures adherence to company and local authorities’ policies and procedures
• Monitors stations safety, rules, and regulations compliance
• Monitors ULDs proper handling and movement as needed
• Assists in monitoring and following up on stations’ performances and assists with their coding
• Monitors stations’ self-audits and scale calibrations to ensure compliance

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Ability to communicate effectively with employees from all departments and levels in English and in Spanish
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and uphold a professional demeanor
• Ability to manage multiple duties efficiently and effectively
• Effective time management skills and motivated self-starter 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and WebEx
• Ability to workdays/evenings/weekends that may include holidays
• Valid Passport and visa to travel to the USA and Internationally

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Proficient in American Airlines iCargo system
• In-depth knowledge of and proficiency in all aspects of cargo customer service
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent airline/cargo services experience
